Glitter, Pumpkin and 2 little girls!!!!!!

I thought it might be fun to invite one of Abbey's friends over to have a pumpkin decorating party. So we invited Sam. We had a fun table set up for the girls with pumpkins, treats, cupcakes, paint and glitter all the things and good pumpkin decorating party needs right???? Thank GOODNESS it was such a nice day outside. We quickly moved the party outside, and I was glad I did that. Let's just say paint, pumpkins and the world finest glitter DO NOT MIX well. The girls had a great time painting there pumpkins pink, and then the glitter started. I have to say I never thought my deck could shine so much. Sam loved every minute of it. She thought I was sprinkling on diamonds......we just left it at that. Next year we will invite the garden hose to the party to help with all the glitter....I mean diamonds :) The girls had a great time.

Soccer Saturday

Every Saturday for the past month and a half Abbey has a soccer game at 9 am sharp rain or shine. She is quite the little soccer player and a polite soccer player as well. She usually scores 1 or 2 goals for her team the "bugs" and then scores at least 1 goal for the other team as well. If she could earn points for the team by the way she dresses, there team would be undefeated. As you can tell Abbey was a bit confused on what weather she might face in today's game, she needed sunglasses in case it was sunny, a hairband in case it was windy, and to top it all off she needed the brightest, shiniest shoes to complete her lovely outfit complements of Dad. I guess you are only 4 once. The lesson learned here is....not to send your husband to buy soccer shoes......well if soccer doesn't work out she can try out for the Seahawks. The fashinista herself. Notice the shoes (how can you miss them)

Abbey & Licorice

Abbey's pre-school class has a pet guinea pig named Licorice. On weekends and vacations Licorice gets to go home with one of the kids. I signed the paper think it would Not be a good idea, but Dad said otherwise....lucky me!!!! Well today was Abbeys lucky day. Riley a friend at school was gone and missed his turn to take Licorice home. The teacher picked Abbey out to take him home. We has Licorice for 6 days (lucky us). Abbey got to feed Licorice all the vegetables he could eat and boy did he eat. Abbey got a bit nervous when he was in the box, thinking that our cat Momo would eat him........ As you can see the cat did not eat Licorice

Look Mom No Hands!!!!!

We we all sitting down to dinner talking about the day we had, apparently somebody was bored by our conversation and decided to take matters into his own hands....well not actually his hands but his mouth.

Look Mom No Hands.... Connor is absolutely obsessed with watching football.

Remlinger Farm

Aunt Cathy had a great idea to go Remlinger Farm for the day. We had a great day. Abbey and Connor had their first train ride. Abbey was so brave she wanted to go on the roller coaster, the spinning pumpkins(not recommended). They had a petting zoo, a hay maze, a train to ride on and some various rides. The kids got to ride a horse. We had popcorn and popsicles. Connor and Abbey had so much fun there. On the way out we got some fresh fruit. Here are some cute photos.......

Abbey's 4th Birthday Party

Abbey turned 4 of September 8Th 2007. We decided to invite all of her friends to a pie making party. Our neighbor Julie owns the Snohomish Pie Company, and she let Abbey have her party there. It was the perfect party. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves and about 20 of Abbey's closest friends and family. Each one of Abbey's friend got to make a apple pie and take it home. Here are some cute pictures of the Birthday Girl and her friends.

Abbey's first broken finger!!!

Honestly she does go to a private Christian school.......
Abbey had just started pre-school we had a great first couple of days. Sometimes on the weekend Abbey goes to Nancy's house (my mother in law) where she gets to cook till her hearts content. Grandma Nancy has a chair Abbey calls the "spinney chair". Abbey was on Grammies spinney chair, and apparently was spinning to fast and the chair tips over. Nobody saw what actually happened. The end result was Abbey broke her middle finger and the very tip of it and had to wear a splint for 2-3 weeks. Being a mom I naturally took a picture to document the whole thing. One day we will all look back and laugh. Hopefully........

(they are like two peas in a pod)

Every fall since Abbey was 1 month old we take our annual trip to the pumpkin farm. We live in a great area where we have about 7-10 farms within a 10 minute drive or so. This trip we headed to Craven Farm in Snohomish. It was a great day outside, sunny, crisp air. We invited Aunt Cathy to the pumpkin farm with us. We love spending time with her. Abbey would prefer that it was just her and her Aunt Cath. Abbey showed Connor how to pick the best pumpkin out, and the big sister did a great job. All and all we had a great day at the pumpkin farm. Abbey even saw one of her friends from school Carsyn.
